Marquita Cole Snodgrass

Marquita Cole Snodgrass, age 67, passed away Thursday, April 25, 2013 at her home. Marquita was born on Oct. 10, 1945 to her parents the late Harry Edward Cole and Spicey Robinson Cole. She was the wife of the late Glenn Snodgrass Jr., a homemaker, and a member of the Island Creek Baptist Church. Along with her husband and parents, Marquita was preceded in death by two brothers, Ralph Edward Cole and Albert Lee Cole. Marquita is survived by four daughters, Kathleen (Paul) Sneed, Mattie Magaleen (Daniel) Spicer, Lahoma Snodgrass, Harriett (Trevis) Collins, two sisters, Mary Elizabeth Honaker, Evelyn Hartsock, four grandchildren, Crystal Weddington, Joshua Sneed, Molly Meade, Daniel Ray Spicer, four great-grandchildren, Harley Paige Newsome, Hailey Weddington, Elijah Weddington, Haley Burke, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Saturday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Sunday at 7p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Monday April 29, 2013 at 11a.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Levi Coleman and others officiating. The burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
