Robert Charles Coleman

Robert Charles Coleman age 80 passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Robert was born on April 6, 1933 to his parents the late Nathaniel M. Coleman and Sarah Hall Coleman. He was the husband of Roosevelt "Rose" Ray Coleman, retired after forty years for Ky. WV Gas Company, a christian, a member of the Johns Creek D.A.V. Chapter 166. Along with his parents, Robert was preceded in death by two sisters, Geraldine Coleman and Nancy Elkins, and one brother, Edsel Coleman. Along with his wife, Robert is survived by one daughter, Carolyn (Bruce) Duncan, two sons, Randy Coleman, Charles R. (Vivian) Coleman, one brother, Sammy Coleman, four grandchildren, Matthew, Adam, Joshua, and Sarah Coleman, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Thursday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Thursday and Friday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Saturday, May 4, 2013 at 11a.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Primitive Baptist Ministers officiating. The burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
