Betty Cantrell

Betty Hill Cantrell age 79, passed away Thursday, May 16, 2013 at the Signature Health Care Center in Pikeville. Betty was born on Sept. 30, 1933 to her parents the late Hubert Hill and Lorene Sweden Hill. She was the wife of the late Jeff Cantrell Jr., a teacher's aide, and a member of Grace Baptist. Along with her husband and parents, Betty was preceded in death by one brother, Carlos Hill, and one sister, Wanda Mullins. Betty is survived by one daugther, Sharon (Kenny) Cox of Pikeville, one brother, Jack Hill, three sisters, Monnie Blizzard, Rita Combs, Lynn Gallion, and one grandson, Corey Cox, and a host of loving family and friends who will miss her dearly. Visitation will be Friday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Friday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Saturday, May 18, 2013 at 11a.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Paul Badgett officiating. The burial will follow in the Cantrell Cemetery at Elkhorn Creek.
