Charlie Howell

Charlie Howell age 76 passed away Sunday, May 19, 2013 at the Whitesburg ARH Hospital. Charlie was born on Nov. 17, 1936 to his parents the late Walker Howell and Ocie Conn Howell. He was the husband of Susie Hylton Howell, and a retired truck driver for Bob Hammond Trucking. Along with his parents, Charlie was preceded in death by one son, Charles Alex. In addition to his wife, Charlie is survived by one daughter, Cassandra Howell of Ashcamp, three brothers, Parley, Palmer, and Billy Howell, two sisters, Yvonne Sue Carpenter, Jean Harris, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday at 6p.m. at the Glory Bound Freewill Baptist Church. Church services will be Tuesday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at 1p.m. at the Glory Bound Freewill Baptist Church with Edgar Sanders, Homer Lee Mullins officiating. The burial will follow in the Potter Cemetery at Ashcamp.
