Barbara Young

Barbara Little Floyzak Young age 86, of Louisville, Ky., formerly of Caney Hwy.,passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at the Green Meadow Nursing Home. Barbara was born on March 17, 1927 to her parents the late Adam Little and Viola Kendrick. She was the wife of the late Herbert Young, a homemaker, and a member of the Full Gospel Church. Along with her husband and parents, Barbara was preceded in death by one daughter, Sonja Billiter, and one sister, Virginia Syvy. Barbara is survived by two sons, Ira Drandal Little, Adam Eugene Little, two brothers, Stanley Little, Don D. Little, nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, three great great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Thursday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Friday May 31, 2013 at 12 noon at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Tommy Tackett, David and Josh Bentley, and others officiating. The burial will follow in the Johnson Memorial Park.
