Evelyn Berger Stiltner

Evelyn Berger Stiltner, age 69, of Melvin, Ky, passed away on Thursday, May 30, 2013 in Cleveland, OH. She was born on February 9, 1944, the daughter of the late Charles and Evie Mullins Berger. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Hobert Arville Stiltner, by two sisters, Rosetta Blades and Charlsie White, and by a brother, Joe Allen Berger. Before her retirement Evelyn worked for the Childers Oil Company. She was a member of the Faith Baptist Church at Myra, KY. She is survived by three sons, Anthony (Shelly) Stiltner of Meridian, MS, Chris Stiltner of Big Rock, VA and Tracy Stiltner of Melvin, KY, by two daughters, Melissa Stiltner of Melvin, KY and Patricia Stiltner (Charlie) Clatworthy of Prestonsburg, KY, by a brother, Kenneth Berger of Pikeville, KY by three sisters, Frances Oswald of Florida, Brenda Smith of Dorton, KY and Belinda Tackett of Dorton, KY, and by three grandchildren, Noah Stiltner of Mississippi, Jonathan Clatworthy of Prestonsburg, KY and Corey Stiltner of Tennessee. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 2, 2013 after 6 p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 12 Noon at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Matthew Tackett Cemetery at Melvin, KY.
