Dulcie Rowe, age 99, passed away Sunday, June 2, 2013 at her home. Dulcie was born on August 27, 1913 to her parents the late Grover Cleveland Belcher and Mary Caroline Hall Belcher. She was the wife of the late Lonnie Rowe, a homemaker, and a member of the Caney Creek Freewill Baptist Church. Along with her husband and parents, Dulcie was preceded in death by three brothers, Corbit, Willie, and Truby Belcher, and three sisters, Bertha Elswick, Ethel Rose, and June Little. Dulcie is survived by one son, Jimmy Steve (Wanda) Rowe, three daughters, Coupie (Dee) Robinson, Fern (Don) Ratliff, Cheryl (Andy) Roberts, ten grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, eleven great great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Tuesday and Wednesday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Thursday, June6, 2013 at 11a.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Brian Hundley, Richard Gibson, and John Vance officiating. The burial will follow in the Family Cemetery at Caney.
