Kathie Swiney

Kathie Tucker Swiney, age 51, passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2013, at her home. Kathie was born on Nov. 13, 1961 to her parents Goldie Damron Tucker and the late Wilburn Tucker. She was the wife of James Curry Swiney, a housekeeper, and a member of the Freewill Baptist Church. Along with her father, Kathie was preceded in death by one brother, Paul Tucker, and one nephew, Paul Tucker Jr. In addition to her husband and mother, Kathie is survived by one son, Nathan Allen Swiney, two daughters, Kerri Marie (Jamie) Sawyers, Misty Denise (Jon) Robinson, one sister, Lizzie Mae Jarrell, eight grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Thursday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Thursday and Friday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Saturday, June 15, 2013 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The burial will follow in the Clevinger Cemetery at Rockhouse.
