Billy Webb

Billy Webb, age 83, passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at his home. Billy was born on Feb. 7, 1930 to his parents the late Conder Webb and Sadie Reed Webb. He was the husband of Lena Williamson Webb, a retired foreman for Equitable Gas Company, and a member of the Church of Christ. He also served his country honorably in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Along with his parents, Billy was preceded in death by one daughter, Wandalene Webb, two brothers, Clifton and Haskel Webb, and three sisters, Ethel Young, Gracie Morrison, and Lucille Lowe. Along with his wife, Billy is survived by one daughter, Barbara Miller, two sons, Dr. Bill Webb, Kendall Webb, three brothers, John D. Webb, Doris Webb, Ronnie Webb, two sisters, Marcella Stanley, Mary Ruth Maynard, six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Thursday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Thursday and Friday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Saturday, June 29, 2013 at 11a.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Church of Christ Ministers and others officiating. The burial will follow in the John B. Williamson Cemetery at Varney.
