Mildred Jewell Tackett Kelly

Mildred Jewell Tackett Kelly, age 67 of Long Fork of Virgie, Ky. passed away Friday June 28,2013 at her residence. Jewell was born December 18,1945 to her parents the late William Andrew and Helen Ford Pruitt. Jewell was a homemaker and was retired from the City of Pikeville. Jewell was a member of the Poor Bottom Freewill Baptist Church. Jewell was preceded in death by her first husband and the father of her children, "TJ" Tommy Tackett Jr., one brother Johnny "Buster" Andrew Pruitt and one sister Beulah Mae Justice. Jewell is survived by her husband, Dolph Kelly,one son Tommy Dwayne Tackett, two daughters R. Renee (Tommy) Robinson and Brittany Nicole Tackett. One step-son Dolph (Amanda) Kelly, two step-daughters, Susie (Tony) Bentley and Renee 'Peanut' (Wayne) Newsome. Two sisters, Nell Ruth (Bob) Lloyd and Shirley Jean Hylton. One Grandchild Amber LaShea Blankenship, one great-grandchild Alicen Grace Stiltner. Six step-grandchildren, nine nieces, eight nephews, twelve great nieces thirteen great nephews and a host of family and friends who love her and will miss her dearly. Visitation will be held on Sunday at 6 p.m. at Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Tim Tackett and Richard Gibson officiating. Special singing services will be held on Sunday and Monday at 7 p.m. Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
