Ruby Napper

Ruby Newsome Napper age 72 of Pikeville passed away Thursday July 11,2013 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Ruby was born April 15, 1941 to her parents, the late Edward and Celia Newsome Newsome. Ruby was a Homemaker and was of the Baptist Faith. Along with her parents Ruby was preceded in death by one sister, Vada Newsome and one brother, Marvin Newsome. Ruby is survived by her husband, Robert H. Napper, and her daughter, Jeannie Chaney (Jason Adams) of Virgie, Ky. Ruby was also survived by one brother, Edward Newsome,Jr. of Pikeville, two sisters, Virginia (Dennis) Jones of Corbin,Ky. Lexi (Lynn David) Slone of Pikeville,Ky. , one grandson Braxton Chaney, one stepgrandson Skyler Adams and a host of family and friends who love her and will miss her dearly. Visitation will be Friday 6pm at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home. Funeral will be Sunday 1pm at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home. Special Services will be Saturday night 7 pm. Burial will be in the Newsome Branch Cemetery.
