Edgel Hall

Edgel Lee Hall, 73, of Turkey Pen Road, Virgie, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at his residence. He was born January 5, 1940 at Virgie, KY. Edgel was the son of the late Shelby and Ollie Osborne Hall. He was a retired employee of the Pike County Board of Education and was of the freewill baptist faith. Along with his parents, Edgel was preceded in death by one brother, Bobby Hall. He is survived by his wife Wanda Smith Hall; three sons: Sidney Tackett and his wife Letty; Terry Hall and his wife Robin; Gary Hall and his wife Donna; two daughters: Esther Panzone and Resha Lucas and her husband Willie; one brother, Fred Hall and his wife Doris; eight grandchildren; and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation for Edgel will be 6 P.M. Friday at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with church services held Friday and Saturday Evening at 7 PM. Funeral services will be Sunday at 1 P.M. with Jackie Diles and others officiating. The burial will follow in the Osborne family cemetery on Turkey Pen Road, Virgie, KY.
