Ruth Smith

Ruth Eileen Wright Smith age 69 passed away Saturday, July 27, 2013 at her home. Ruth was born on January 30, 1944 to her parents the late Hiram Wright and Bertha Ellen Osborne Wright. She was the wife of the late Bobby Randall Smith, and a believer of the Old Regular Baptist Faith. Along with her husband and parents, Ruth was preceded in death by one son, John Randall Smith, one daughter Bobbi Smith. Ruth is survived by two daughters, Ruby Ann "Tincey" (Donnie Jr.) Hall, Shandra Starr (Estil Jr.) Bentley, two brothers, Bily (Fanny) Wright, Carson (Ruby) Wright, four sisters, Norma Baker, Frances Bartley, Ruby (Gomer) Bartley, Retha Montgomery, five grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Monday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Monday and Tuesday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Carson Wright, James Tackett, Mike Justice, and others officiating. The burial will follow in the John Randall Smith Cemetery at Little Robinson Creek.
