Stella Sue Hamilton

Stella Sue Newsome Hamilton age 69 passed away Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at Select Specialty Hospital in Lexington. Stella was born on Aug. 21, 1944 to her parents the late Robert Newsome and Beatrice Rogers Newsome. She was the wife of Thomas Richard Hamilton, a homemaker, and a member of Pikeville Old Regular Baptist Church. Along with her husband, Stella is survived by two daughters, Patricia Sue (Ronald) Patterson, Ginger (Kalip) Case, one sister, Lona Johnson, two brothers, David Newsome, Michael Newsome, two granddaughters, Sharon Gibson and Kayla Sue Case, two great-grandchildren, Jondra Gibson and Jakeb Case, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Friday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Friday and Saturday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Sunday, August 25, 2013 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating. Burial will follow in the Newsome Branch Cemetery.
