Charles Everett Hurley, age 51, passed away Sunday, October 20, 2013 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Charles was born on April 28, 1962 to his parents the late Darrell Hurley and Beulah Funk Hurley. He was the husband of Cynthia Kay Hatfield Hurley, a coal miner, and a member of the Kimper Church of God. Along with his wife, Charles is survived by three sons, Joshua (Kayla) Hurley, Jeremy (Cheriee) Hurley, Joseph Hurley, two brothers, Eddie (Susan) Hurley, Jerry (Donna) Hurley, five grandchildren, Charity, Serenity, Camron, Jacob, and Karson, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday at 6p.m. at the Kimper Church of God. Church services will be Tuesday and Wednesday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Thursday, Oct. 24, 2013 at 1p.m. at the Kimper Church of God with Robert Coleman and Eddie Dotson officiating. Burial will follow in the Anderson Cemetery at Grapevine.
