ML Pleasant

ML Pleasant age 87 of Schoolhouse Rd, Shelbiana passed away Friday November 15,2013 at the Pikeville Medical Center. ML was born November 4,1926 to his parents the late Golden and Rena Campbell Pleasant. He was a conductor for the CSX Railroad and was of the Methodist faith. Along with his parents ML was preceded in death by his wife, Alberta Lyons Pleasant and one sister Marie Sowards. ML is survived by one son Mark (Carla) Pleasant, two daughters, Pamela Rose Hurley , NellRena Reed, one brother, James (Florence) Pleasant ,two sisters, Emogene (Manford) Smith, Virginia (Bill) Ratliff, five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and a host of loving family and friends who will miss him dearly. Visitation will be Saturday 11-16-13 at 6 p.m. at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home. Funeral will be Sunday 11-17-13 at 1p.m. at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home. Special Services will be Saturday Night at 7 p.m.
