Susie E. Coleman

Susie E. Coleman, age 86, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2013 at the Whitesburg ARH Hospital. Susie was born on Sept. 3, 1927 to her parents the late W.F. Jones and Dolly Stewart Jones. She was the wife of the late Elmer William Coleman, a homemaker, and a believer of the Christian Faith. Along with her husband and parents, Susie was preceded in death by twelve brothers and sisters, and one granddaughter, Jeana Coleman. Susie is survived by one son, Jackie (Deborah) Coleman, four daughters, Judy (Bill) Robinson, Teresa (Donald) Davis, Demetra Coleman, Connie (Kent) Cool, one sister, Mabel Hunt, four grandchildren, Kevin, Christopher, Letisha, and Donovan, two step grandchildren, Haley and Chelsey, and three great-grandchildren, Haley Brooke, Cameron, and Abigail, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Friday at 6p.m. at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home. Visitation will be Saturday at 5p.m. at the Unity Freewill Baptist Church. The funeral will be sunday, Dec. 8, 2013 at 11a.m. at the Unity Freewill Baptist Church with Donald Ray Davis and others officiating. The burial will follow in the Coleman Family Cemetery.
