Curtis (Junior) Ratliff

Pastor Curtis (Junior) Ratliff, age 72, passed away Sunday, Dec. 29, 2013 at his home. Curtis was born on June 15, 1941 to his parents the late Curtis Ratliff and Madeline Williamson Ratliff. He was the husband of Patricia Matney Ratliff, a coal miner, and Pastor of Powell's Creek Holiness Church. Along with his wife, Curtis is survived by three sons, Perry (Jennifer) Ratliff, Greg (Shelby) Ratliff, Kevin (Christy) Ratliff, seven brothers, Julius, Clarence, Clinard, Billy, Raymond, Ray, and Bobby Ratliff, two sisters, Betty Short, Virgie Adams, seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Monday at 6p.m. at the Powells Creek Revival Center. Church services will be Tuesday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2014 at 12 noon at the Powells Creek Revival Center with Billy Ratliff and Charles Ray Justice officiating. Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
