Ralph E. Patrick

Ralph E. Patrick, age 66 of Lookout, Ky, passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2014 at his residence. He was born on June 23, 1947, the son of the late William T. and Mae Bentley Patrick. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by three half sisters, Rosalie Ward, Elene Ramey, and Shirleen Perry and by a brother, James A. Patrick Before his retirement, Ralph worked as a coal miner for the Costain Coal Company. He was a member of the Bowling Fork Freewill Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Pat Patrick, by a son, Ralph E. Patrick, Jr., by a daughter, Angela "Angie" Patrick Mattingly, by three brothers, Roy Patrick, Joe Patrick, and Carl "Red" Patrick, by two sisters, Rosetta Patrick and Lisa Preston, and by four grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 5, 2014, after 6 p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Chris Bartley, Jimmie Kerr, and Estill Mullins officiating. Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery. Special services will be held on Sunday and Monday nights at 7 p.m.
