Joel Robinson

Joel Robinson, age 57, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2014 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Joel was born on April 16, 1956 to his parents the late Arlin Robinson and Mary Ratliff Robinson. Joel was the husband of Rita Damron Robinson, a retired coal miner, and chief of Greasy Creek Volunteer Fire Dept for six years. Along with his parents, Joel was preceded in death by one brother, Arlin Michael Robinson. Along with his wife, Joel is survived by four sons, Shannon, Isaac, Eric, & Jonathan Robinson, two daughters, Ashley Anderson, Diamond Robinson, one half brother, John Henry Robinson, eight grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Thursday at 6p.m. at the Greasy Creek Freewill Baptist Church. The funeral will be Friday January 17, 2014 at 7p.m. at the Greasy Creek Freewill Baptist Church with Jimmy Jack Adkins and others officiating.
