Johnny Adkins

Johnny Dean Adkins, age 55, passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Johnny was born on Dec. 4, 1958 to his parents John David Adkins and the late Patricia Fern Adkins. He was the husband of Felicia Hall Adkins, retired from the Pike County Board of Education, and a member of the Freewill Baptist Church. Along with his wife and father, Johnny is survived by one son, Austin Clay Adkins, one daughter, Patricia Irene Jon Renee Adkins, one brother, David Dwaine Adkins and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Wednesday and Thursday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Friday, Jan. 24, 2014 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Morgan Chapman and Randall Good officiating. Burial will follow in the Johnson Memorial Park.
