Wade Fields

Wade Fields, age 63, passed away Friday, Jan. 24, 2014 at his home. Wade was born on Dec. 19, 1950 to his parents the late Frank Fields and Flora Phillips Fields. He was the husband of Linda Newsome Fields, a retired general laborer, and a believer of the Baptist Faith. Along with his parents, Wade was preceded in death by one brother, Harold Fields. In addition to his wife, Wade is survived by two sons, Josh Fields, Kevin Fields, three brothers, Jerry, Willard, & Billy Joe Fields, two sisters, Mary Ann Kurkowski, Lydia Mae Reed, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Saturday at 6p.m. at the Island Creek Old Regular Baptist Church. Church services will be Sunday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Monday, Jan. 27, 2014 at 1p.m. at the Island Creek Old Regular Baptist Church with Danny Hamilton and others officiating. The burial will follow in the Fields Family Cemetery at Island Creek.
