Nora Belcher

Nora Elkins Belcher, age 93, passed away Sunday, Jan. 26, 2014 at her home. Nora was born on Feb. 23, 1920 to her parents the late Sol Elkins and Dovie Belcher Elkins. She was the wife of Homer Belcher, a homemaker, and a member of the Dorton Freewill Baptist Church. Along with her parents, Nora was preceded in death by one daughter, Dorothy Belcher, one son, Ronnie Belcher, and one brother, Ronnie Moore. In addition to her husband, Nora is survived by one daughter, Bonnie (Jerry) Wright, one granddaughter, Lorrie (Keith) France, one great grandson, Dalton France and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Monday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Monday and Tuesday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2014 at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Freewill Baptist Ministers officiating. Burial will follow in the Country Grace Memorial Gardens at Blaze Branch.
