Herbert Leon Clark

Herbert Leon Clark age 81, passed away Sunday, Jan. 26, 2014 at the Thomson Hood Veterans Center in Wilmore, Ky. Herbert was born on August 8, 1932 to his parents the late Beckhom Leon Clark and Mattie Emma Smith Clark. Herbert was retired from Whayne Supply Company and he also served his country honorably in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Along with his parents, Herbert was preceded in death by one brother, John Clark, and one sister, Margaret Wesley. Herbert is survived by two sons, Jeffrey Clark of Ball, LA, Bruce Clark of Sandstone, WV., five daughters, Donna Friend of Big Rock, Va., Patricia Northern of Sandstone, WV., Leslie Cales of Sandstone, WV., Cathryn Clark of Hinton, WV., Stacey Clark of Georgetown, Ky., one sister, Anna Mae Cole of Bowling Green, Ky., twelve grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6p.m. to 9p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2014 at 11a.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Dean Powers officiating. Burial will follow in the Tom Fraley Cemetery at Hatfield, Ky.
