Ray Mullins

Ray Mullins, age 84, of Shelby Gap, passed away Thursday, Jan. 30, 2014 at his home. Ray was born on Jan. 10, 1930 to his parents the late Palmer Mullins and Bessie Mullins. He was also a member of the Shelby Valley Church of Christ. Along with his parents, Ray was preceded in death by one brother, Everett Mullins, three sisters, Eula Grubb, Janice McCleskey, and Judy Day. Ray is survived by four brothers, Jimmy H. Mullins, Russell Mullins, Jerry Mullins, Colbert Mullins, and five sisters, Nona Elkins, Mabel Tucker, Beulah Addington, Wilma McPeek, Kathy Thacker, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Friday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Saturday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Sunday, Feb. 2, 2014 at 2p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Greg Johnson officiating. The burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
