Pearl Bryant Harris

Pearl Harris, age 66 of Pikeville, Ky, passed away on Saturday, March 1, 2014 at the Pikeville Medical Center. She was born on August 24, 1947, the daughter of the late Hatler and Mary Ray Bryant. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth O'dale Harris and by several brothers and sisters. Pearl had worked as a Library Assistant at Robinson Creek Elementary School and was also a homemaker. She was of the Old Regular Baptist Faith. She is survived by a son, Kenneth Scott Harris of Pikeville, Ky, by tow brothers, Joe Bryant and Russell Bryant, both of Pikeville, KY, by a granddaughter, Savannah Mullins and had two grandsons on the way. Visitation will be held on Wednesday March 5, 2014 after 6 p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 1 p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Floyd Compton, Leonard Hamilton and John Paul Hamilton officiating. Burial will follow in the Sam Hall Cemetery at Bearfork. Special services will be held on Wednesday and Thursday nights at 7 p.m.
