Jacqueline Thomas Hall, age 85, passed away Sunday, March 9, 2014 at her home. Jacqueline was born on May 27, 1928 to her parents the late Jack Thomas and Draxie McCown Thomas. She was the wife of Miles Hall, a retired cook for Western Steer Steakhouse and a member of the Island Creek Old Regular Baptist Church. Along with her parents, Jacqueline was preceded in death by three brothers, Kermit, Algie, and James Howard Thomas, and four sisters, Thelma Roberts, Alpha Smith, Naomi West, and Yvonnie Ray. In addition to her husband, Jacqueline is survived by one son, James Donnie (Pamala) Hall, two daughters, Patricia Gail (Fred) Meade, Debra (Joe) Bryant, one sister, Aileen Shepard, nine grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, six great great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Monday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Visitation will be Tuesday at Island Creek Old Regular Baptist Church. Church services will be Monday and Tuesday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at 11a.m. at the Island Creek Old Regular Baptist Church with Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating. Burial will follow in the Hall Cemetery at Island Creek.
