Nannie Howell Madden

Nannie Howell Madden, age 71, passed away Sunday, March 9, 2014 at her home. Nannie was born on Aug. 28, 1942 to her parents the late Tandy Howell and Doshie Adams Howell. She was the wife of the late Plamer Madden, a homemaker, and a member of the Owsley Freewill Baptist Church. Along with her husband and parents, Nannie was preceded in death by one sister, Martha Young, three brothers, Robert, Bill, and Jack Howell. Nannie is survived by one daughter, Cynthia Rogers, two sons, Steve Madden, Joseph Madden, one sister, Lou Ramsey, six grandchildren, five great granddchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Monday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Monday and Tuesday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Eddie Overstreet, Barry Clark, and other Freewill Baptist Ministers officiating. Burial will follow in the Carroll Cemetery at Island Creek.
