Lois Bentley

Lois Allen Rowe Bentley, age 83, passed away Monday, March 17, 2014 at the Signature Health Care Center.  Lois was born on July 30, 1930 to her parents the late William Rowe and Louama Looney Rowe.  She was the wife of the late Ervin Bentley, a homemaker, and a member of the Meta Baptist Church.      Along with her husband and parents, Lois was preceded in death by one daughter, Brenda Watts, one brother, Glen Green, one sister, Louise Rowe, one grandson, Christopher Watts, and one great grandson, Chase Hackworth.      Lois is survived by two daughters, Betty (Dave) Allore, Georgia (David) Watts, five sons, Kenneth (Cheryl) Bentley, James Allen (Sue) Bentley, Timothy Bentley, Steve (Michele) Bentley, Ted (Diana) Bentley, two sisters, Zettie Mullins, Phyllis Wright, three brothers, Jerry, Jimmy, and Ray Green fourteen grandchildren, twenty two great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends that will miss her dearly.      Visitation will be Wednesday at 6p.m. at the Meta Baptist Church.  Church services will be Wednesday and Thursday at 7p.m.  The funeral will be Friday, March 21, 2014 at 11a.m. at the Meta Baptist Church with Bill Staggs officiating.  Burial will follow in the Chaney Family Cemetery at Peyton's Creek.
