Paul R. Hunt

Paul R. "Yank" Hunt, age 71, passed away Monday, March 17, 2014 at the U.K. Medical Center.  Paul was born on Dec. 9, 1942 to his parents the late Loy Hunt and Eva (Abshire) Hunt.  Paul was the husband of Lenore Stiltner Hunt, a retired coal miner, and a believer of the holiness faith.      Along with his parents, Paul was preceded in death by one brother, Bob Abshire.      Along with his wife, Paul is survived by four daughters, Sherry (Jimmy) Miller, Sharon (Larry) Phillips, Shirley Ramey, Sandra (Greg) Coleman, one brother, Vondel Hunt, four sisters, Thelma Freeman, Velvet Estep, Adarine Thacker, Jeanette Norling, five grandchildren, Josh, Samantha, Brittany, Kelsey, & Gregory "Boomer, two great grandchildren, Hannah Phillips and Maycee Blair, and a host of loving family and friends.      Visitation will be Wednesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.  Church services will be Wednesday and Thursday at 7p.m.  The funeral will be Friday March 21, 2014 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Paul Coleman, Teddy Honaker, Lloyd Holland, and Ray Sayers officiating.  Burial will follow in the R. H. Ratliff Cemetery.
