Ruby Cantrell

Ruby Beauparlant Cantrell, age 79, passed away Sunday, March 23, 2014 at her home.  Ruby was born on June 20, 1934 to her parents the late Isaac Helton and Della Puckett Helton.  She was the wife of the late Houston Cantrell, a retired sales clerk, and a believer of the Freewill Baptist Faith.          Along with her husband and parents, Ruby was preceded in death by her first husband, Marcus Beauparlant, one grandson, Elmer Austin.     Ruby is survived by one son, Joseph Beauparlant, four daughters, Delene Fleming, Ruby Beauparlant, Debbie Wood, Misty Fields, three sisters, Stella Ballard, Louise Abernathy, Charlotte (Donnie) Bryant, five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, and a host of loving family and friends.      Visitation will be Tuesday at 6p.m. at the Hylton Freewill Baptist Church.  Church services will be Tuesday and Wednesday at 7p.m.  The funeral will be Thursday, March 27, 2014 at 12 noon at the Hylton Freewill Baptist Church with Donnie Bryant and others officiating.  Burial will follow in the Helton Family Cemetery.
