Naamon Coleman, age 86, passed away Monday, March 24, 2014 at his home. Naamon was born on March 13, 1928 to his parents the late John D. Coleman and Cynthia Music. He was the husband of Mary A. Coleman, a retired coal miner for U.S. Industries, and a member of God's church. Along with his parents, Naamon was preceded in death by one son, Samuel D. Coleman, one daughter, Jackie Coleman, two brothers, Denny Coleman, Bethel Coleman, and two sisters, Jettie Chaney and Berthy Hall. In addition to his wife, Naamon is survived by six daughters, Brenda Isom, Marie Springer, Rosemary Carroll, Sherry Hilton, Jettie Mullins, Julia Ramsey, three sons, Terry, James, & John Coleman, fifteen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Tuesday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Herman West, Bob Justice and all ministers welcome officiating. Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
