Woodrow Chaney Jr.

Woodrow Chaney Jr. age 68, passed away Tuesday April 15, 2014 at his residence.  Woodrow was born April 15,1945 to his parents the late Woodrow Chaney Sr. and Maudie May Chaney. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by one son Kelly Chaney,  by two daughters, Shondelle Chaney and Sabrina Chaney Gould, by one sister Sylvia Chaney. Woodrow was a Coal Miner for Scotts Branch Coal Mines and he served his Country Proud in the US Army, and was of the Baptist Faith.Woodrow is survived by his wife Clara Chaney, by one daughter, Regina (Mikie) Chaney Deboard, by one brother, Ronald Chaney, by two sisters, Joyce Hill, Wanda Carol Snodgrass, by three grandchildren, Virginia Newcomb, K'La Wheeling, Klarissa Ratliff,  twelve great-grandchildren,  Shelby Newsome, Michael Rush Ratliff, Keaton Ratliff, Braden Alley, Lillian Alley, Klair-Renea Woods, Eric McClanahan Jr. , Larry McClanahan, Sabrina Deboard, O'Lena Deboard, Trinity Deboard, Sydney Deboard. and a host of family and friends who love him and will miss him dearly.Visitation will be Thursday 4-17-2014  6p.m. at Lucas & Son Funeral Home,  Funeral will be Saturday 4-19-2014  1p.m. at Lucas & Son Funeral Home.  Special Services will be Thursday & Friday night  7p.m.  Burial will be in the Chaney Family Cemetery at Pompey.
