Lettie Pugh

Lettie Marie Pugh, age 89, passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at her home.  Lettie was born on July 6, 1924 to her parents the late Mahlon Hampton and Mary Alice Elswick Hampton.  She was the wife of Buren Pugh and a homemaker.     Along with her parents, Lettie was preceded in death by three sisters and four brothers.     In addition to her husband, Lettie is survived by four sons, Michael Pugh, James (Kathleen) Pugh, Jerry Pugh, Jeffery (Sandra) Pugh, three daughters, Wanda (Ron) Bartley, Patricia (Darold) Slone, Maxine (Terry) Gibson, three brothers, Elmer, Lonnie, & Russell Hampton, fourteen grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends.     Visitation will be Thursday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.  Church services will be Thursday at 7p.m.  The funeral will be Friday, April 18, 2014 at 12 noon at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Buddy Ford officiating.  Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
