Gary W. Williams

Gary W. Williams, age 66, passed away Monday, May 5, 2014 at Pikeville, Ky.  Gary was born on Feb. 17, 1948 to his parents the late Ben Williams and Virgie Newsome Williams.  Gary was the husband of Pauline Thacker Williams, retired from the Department of Highways, and pastor of Island Creek Holiness Church.     Along with his parents, Gary was preceded in death by one brother, Clinton Williams.     In addition to his wife, Gary is survived by one daughter, Melissa Williams, one son, Jimmy D. (Andrea) Williams, one granddaughter, Samantha Williams, three brothers, Estill, Ray, and Larry Williams, three sisters, Velma Hayton, Della Young, Kathy Williams, and a host of loving family and friends.     Visitation will be Wednesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.  Church services will be Wednesday and Thursday at 7p.m.  The funeral will be Friday May 9, 2014 at 12 noon at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Frank Salisbury and others officiating.  Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
