Forest Rose Milam

Forest Rose Milam, age 79, passed away Friday, May 9, 2014 at her residence. Forest was born on Oct. 6, 1934 to her parents the late Guy Johnson and Thersia Lusk Johnson. She was the wife of Raymond Milam Jr., an assistant Manager at Pikeville National Bank for 24 years, co founder of Sandy Valley Habitat for Humanity, and a member of the Pikeville United Methodist Church. Along with her husband, Forest Rose is survived by one step daughter, Vaile Milam, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends. Visitation will be Sunday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Monday, May 12, 2014 at 11a.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Brad Smart officiating. Burial will follow in the Johnson Memorial Park.
