Betty Lou Damron

Betty Lou Damron age 70, passed away Thursday, May 22,2014 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Betty was born September 30,1943 to her parents, the late Green and Dora Thacker. Betty was a homemaker and was of the Freewill Baptist Faith. Along with her parents Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Ray Damron, one daughter, Jennifer Damron, two sisters, Phyllis and Katherine, six brothers, Eldon, Elsie, Arnold, Roger, Donald, and Seldon. Betty is survived by two sons, Keith Wayne (Dianna) Damron, Bobby Douglas Damron, two daughters, Beverly (Randy) McCoy, Denise (Joey) Ramey, one brother, Raymond Thacker, three sisters, Carol Damron, Avonelle Blackburn, Mavis Norman, Nine Grandchildren, Seven Great-Grandchildren, and a host of family and friends who love her and will miss her dearly. Visitation will be Saturday 6 p.m. at Lucas and Son Funeral Home. Funeral will be Monday 1 p.m. at Lucas and Son Funeral Home. Special Services will be Saturday and Sunday Night at 7 p.m.
