Eyvind Gene Conway

Eyvind Gene Conway age 71, passed away Thursday June 6, 2014 at his residence. Eyvind was born October 13, 1942 to his parents, the late Green Conway and Mary Thacker Conway. He was a Coal Miner and was of the Old Regular Baptist Faith. Along with his parents Eyvind was preceded in death by two sisters, Tennessee Conway, Birtha Mayrine Conway, one brother, Ray Conway. Eyvind is survived by his wife, Virginia Rodgers, two brothers, Vernon Conway, Junis Gary Conway, three sisters, Noma Thacker, Zaddie Coleman, Maggie Lee Thacker, special nephew, Tracy Coleman, host of nieces and nephews, and a host of family and friends who love him and will miss him dearly. Visitation will be Friday at 6 p.m. at the Philadelphia Old Regular Baptist Church. Funeral will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Philadelphia Old Regular Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Coleman Cemetery. Special Services will by Friday and Saturday Night at 7 p.m.
