Clyde DeRossett

Clyde E. DeRossett, age 78, passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Clyde was born on Oct. 8, 1935 to his parents the late Jim DeRossett and Hazel DeBoard DeRossett. He was the husband of Sue DeRossett, a painter and maintenance man, a member of the Island Creek Baptist Mission Church, and he also was a member of the Masonic Zebulon Lodge #273 and East Point Lodge #657. Along with his wife, Clyde is survived by one son, Rodney Branham, two daughters, Kimberly Robinson, Betsy Branham, one brother, Ottie Lester, one sister, Bobbie Sue Fairchild, a special nephew, Jimmy DeRossett, eight grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Thursday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Masonic Rites will be Friday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Saturday, June 14, 2014 at 11a.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Reb. Bob Norman officiating. Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
