Ruth Kay Bunch

Ruth Kay Blackburn Bunch, age 59, passed away Monday, June 16, 2014 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Ruth was born on August 15, 1954 to her parents th elate Carl D. Blackburn and Billie Ruth Rogers Blackburn. She was the wife of the late Ronnie Bunch, a homemaker, and a believer of the Baptist Faith. Along with her husband and parents, Ruth was preceded in death by one sister, Carolyn Sue Owens, and one brother, Carl David Blackburn. Ruth is survived by two sons, Brian Bunch, Jason Bunch, one brother, Rodney Blackburn, seven sisters, Judy Lampkin, Wanda Justice, Deana Shepherd, Bonnie Frazier, Angela Parks, Linda Blackburn, Debbie Cole, two grandchildren, Chyanne Bunch, Dalton Bunch, and a host of loving family and friends who will miss her dearly. Visitation will be Wednesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Wednesday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Thursday, June 19, 2014 at 11a.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Dolph Kelly, Donnie Hall, Billy Compton officiating. Burial will follow in the R.H. Ratliff Cemetery.
