James Edward Bailey

James Edward Bailey, 57, rested from the hurry of life on June 21, 2014, in his loving home. James was born on July 15, 1956 in Pheonix, Arizona to his late parents, Keith and Juliana Bailey. He was a devoted husband for 40 years to his best friend Janice Bailey. Along with his loving wife, James is survived by one son, Steve Bailey, one daughter Nicole Bailey, two adored grandchildren Jacob and Joshua Bailey, and a countless number of respecting friends. James spent 6 years in the US Marine Corps. He came home to work a few odd jobs before settling into a dedicated 28 year career in the coal industry. He spent his free time laughing with his family, fishing and hunting. Visitation will be Monday, June 23, 2014, from 2 to 10 p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral and burial will be Wednesday June 25, 2014 at 1 p.m. at Pinelawn Memorial Gardens in Pineville, KY.
