Gladys Marie Bradley

Gladys Marie Bradley, age 72, passed away Monday, July 7, 2014 at her home. Gladys was born on August 15, 1941 to her parents the late Dock Campbell Akers and Polly Akers Akers. She was the wife of the late James Elgin Bradley, a homemaker, and a member of the Church of Christ. Along with her husband and parents, Gladys was preceded in death by one step son, Mark Bradley. Gladys is survived by her companion, Rush Meade, one step daughter, Betsy Bradley, one step son, Paul Bradley, five brothers, Eugene, Monroe, Ermil, Campbell W., and Robert D. Akers, three sisters, Birthda Kidd, Lockie Swiney, and Pauline Kidd, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Tuesday and Wednesday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Thursday, July 10, 2014 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Fred Klatka officiating. Burial will follow in the Akers Cemetery at Island Creek.
