Larry F. Anderson

Larry F. Anderson, age 76, passed away Saturday, July 5, 2014 at the Villa Springs Health Care Center. Larry was born on Feb. 12, 1938 to his parents the late Floyd Anderson and Lillie Mae Jones Anderson. Larry was the husband of Mable Marie Wright Anderson, a retired U.A.W. auto worker for General Motors and a believer of the Pentecostal Faith. He also served his country honorably in the U.S. Army. Along with his parents, Larry was preceded in death by one brother, Lloyd Raymond Anderson. In addition to his wife, Larry is survived by one daughter, Sabrina (Jeffrey) Tackett, one son, Lloyd Franklin (Darlene) Anderson Sr., two brothers, Clyde (Burnice) Anderson, Douglas (Aileen) Anderson, three sisters, Betty Sue (Ernest) Anderson, Larue (Rollie) Wright, Faith (Bill) Ratliff, four grandchildren, Todd (Stacy) Tackett, Charlie Tackett, Lloyd F. (Bridgett) Anderson Jr. Brittany Nicole Anderson, five great-grandchildren, Aidyn, Hunter, Nevaeh, Lakota, Greyson, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Wednesday and Thursday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Friday, July 11, 2014 at 12 noon at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Dorton Freewill Baptist Ministers officiating. Burial will follow in the Precious Memory Cemetery at Dorton.
