Gaye Lamb Robinson

Gaye Lamb Robinson, age 59, of Greasy Creek Road, Shelbiana, went home to be with her Lord on July 11, 2014. Gaye was born in Pikeville on August 19, 1954. Gaye loved her children and her family. Gaye loved to cook and bake and enjoyed working in her garden. Giving gifts to her family and friends was her heart's delight. May Gaye rest in peace in Jesus' arms after all she has suffered. She was a homemaker and was of the Church of God faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Dorothy Lamb; a twin sister, Gail Higginson; and a brother, Jerry Lamb. She is survived by her children, Matt Robinson, Brandi Robinson, Mark Robinson and Tina Robinson; four sisters, Joyce Loftis of Virginia, Sue Young of Florida, Tina Breitenbach of Middletown, Ohio, and Jean Monfordini, and eight grandchildren, Whitni Robinson, Nick Keene, Keleigh James, Matison Robinson, Gabe Robinson, Grace Robinson, Abby Robinson, and Jake Robinson. Funeral services will be held at noon, Monday, July 14, 2014, at Lucas and Son Funeral with Rev. Bud Crum and Norman Jenning officiating. Burial will follow in the R.H. Ratliff Cemetery at Shelbiana, with Mark Robinson, Matt Robinson, Glenn Lamb and family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday July 12 and 13 at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.
