Clayton Kenn Dove

Clayton Kenn Dove, age 75, passed away Monday, July 14, 2014 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Clayton was born on March 17, 1939 to his parents the late Avery Dove and Estill Sweeton Dove. He was the husband of Mildred Louise Smith Dove, a retired coal miner, and a member of the Victory Temple in Jesus Name Church. Along with his parents, Clayton was preceded in death by one daughter in law, Denise Dove, nine brothers, and seven sisters. In addition to his wife, Clayton is survived by one son, Jimmy Carl Dove, two daughters, Barbara An (Ricky) Smith, Lisa Marie (Barry Joe) Wolford, two sisters, Betty Jane Dove, Estelle Dove, seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Wednesday and Thursday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Friday, July 18, 2014 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with David Norman and Clinard Ratliff officiating. Burial will follow in the Davidson Memorial Garden at Ivel, Ky
