Rury David Thacker

Rury David Thacker age 63 passed away Thursday, August 7, 2014 at the Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Rury was born on March 30, 1951 to his parents the late Joe Thacker and Susie Tucker Thacker. Rury was the husband of the late Faye Casebolt Thacker and a coal miner. Along with his wife and parents, Rury was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister. Rury is survived by two daughters, Pamela Thacker and Rurena Thacker, one brother, Roy Thacker, two sisters, Betty Slone, Donna Chaney, five grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Sunday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Monday, August 11, 2014 at 11a.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Ford's Branch Cemetery.
