Geneva Epling

Geneva Robinson Epling, age 87, passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Geneva was born on Sept. 29, 1926 to her parents the late Patrick Robinson and Frankie McCown Robinson. She was the wife of the late Virgil Epling, a homemaker, and a believer of the Christian Faith. Along with her husband and parents, Geneva was preceded in death by one son, Michael R. Epling, and ten brothers and sisters. Geneva is survived by three daughters, Judy Carol (Virgil) Gibson, Patty S. (James) Belcher, Karen (Mike) Pruitt, two sisters, Elizabeth Hunt, Ruby Joyce Simons, eight grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Thursday, August 21, 2014 at 12 noon at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Tony Boswell officiating. Burial will follow in the Newsome Branch Cemetery at Penny Road.
