Imal Collins

Imal Justice Collins, age 92, passed away Thursday, October 2, 2014 at her home. Imal was born on Dec. 19, 1921 to her parents the late John "Link" Justice and Angeline W. Justice. She was the wife of the late Homer J. Collins, a postmaster and homemaker, and a member of the Meta Baptist Church. Along with her husband and parents, Imal was preceded in death by nine brothers and eight sisters. Imal is survived by two daughters, Betty (Phillip) Murphy, Eppie Collins, two sons, Eddie (Anita) Collins, George (Ruth) Collins, thirteen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Friday at 6p.m. at the Meta Baptsit Church. Church services will be Saturday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Sunday, October 5, 2014 at 1p.m. at the Meta Baptist Church with Bill Staggs and Jody Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in the Johnson Memorial Park.
