Thelma J. Pauley, 91, of Taylors, SC, went home to be with her Lord on October 10, 2014 after a long and blessed life on this Earth. She passed away peacefully at home with her family at her side in Hospice Care. She was the widow of Clarence Pauley, who preceded her in death in 2005. She retired from GE after 43 years of service in Youngstown, OH in 1982, and at that time moved to Moncks Corner, SC until coming to Taylors in 1987. She was a charter member of Calvary Christian Fellowship in Taylors, SC. She was born in Big Branch, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Noah and Flora Ratliff Johnson. She is survived by one daughter, Patricia Miller, of the home in Taylors; three grandchildren, Deborah Miller, Leslie Miller Alexander (Kenneth), of Taylors and Ted Miller (Alicia) of Nashville, TN; seven great-grandchildren, Angie Houk Cabe (Ronnie), Kaleb, Connor and Seth Alexander, Candace and Mikaela Miller, Ashley Miller Brownlee (Mark); three sisters, Chloe Ann Reed and Shelvia Jean Little (Don), of Pikeville, KY; Mildred Johnson Little (Joe) of Camden, AL. In addition to her parents, she was pre-deceased by nine siblings. Funeral services will be held at Wood Mortuary in Greer, SC on October 11, 2014 by Pastor Phil Lord of Calvary Christian Fellowship. Burial will be at the Mitchell Cemetery in Pikeville, KY on October 12, 2014
