Ivan Eugene Carroll

Ivan Eugene Carroll age 68, passed away Wednesday October 15, 2014 at the U.K. Medical Center. Ivan was born on Sept. 21, 1946 to his parents the late Nathan Carroll and Delphia Hall Carroll. He was the husband of Rosemary Carroll, a retired truck driver for Pikeville Ready Mix, and a believer of the baptist faith. Along with his parents, Ivan was preceded in death by one brother, Reevis Carroll, and three sisters, Ervina Adkins, Syrevelvia Clark, and Treva Collins. In addition to his wife, Eugene is survived by one son, Nathan Eugene Carroll, three daughters, Eugenia (Ricky) Williams, Elizabeth Jean (Johnny) Tibbs, Crystal Lynn (Timmy) Hinkle, three sisters, Irene D. (the late Thomas) Sparks, Ivelee (the late Curtis) Slaughter, Mary Kay (George) Hall, twelve grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Friday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Friday and Saturday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Sunday, Oct. 19, 2014 at 2p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Dwight Buckley and others officiating. Burial will follow in the Carroll Family Cemetery.
